Kundalini Activation

Kundalini Activation is a powerful energetic and spiritual process that aims to awaken and circulate the dormant life force energy—Prana—within an individual’s system. Kundalini, being static Prana, is considered a potent and transformative life force that exists within each of us.

During a Kundalini Activation session, a safe and supportive environment is created to stimulate and awaken this energy. The process encourages the flow of energy along the spine, through the different energy centers known as chakras. This can lead to expanded consciousness, spiritual awakening, personal transformation, and access to higher levels of awareness.

Kundalini Activation is a method of emotional, mental, energetic, and physical release. It is a process of surrender, during which you enter an expanded state of consciousness, similar to a trance. In this altered state, your vital energy activates through resonance, your autonomic nervous system is recycled, and your self-healing mechanisms are triggered.

You gradually release what is holding you back—on a mental level (repetitive patterns, negative or obsessive thoughts, emotional drama, attachments), physical level (pain, joint stiffness, flexibility), energetic level (blocked knots, chakra harmonization, opening of energetic channels), and emotional level (crystallized emotions surface to be released).

A Y.K.A. Session

During a Kundalini Activation session, you may experience expanded states of consciousness and neuroplastic transformation that help recycle your autonomic nervous system. You naturally learn to trust your inner guidance and your body’s innate intelligence.

These sessions slow down the stream of thoughts, encouraging a deeper connection to your awareness. You reconnect with your true nature—remembering who you truly are: a spiritual being having a human experience.

This process helps illuminate conditioned thought patterns, limiting beliefs, and blocks that restrict heart expansion.

How a Y.K.A. Session Unfolds

In-person session
A Kundalini Activation session, also known as Innerdance, can be held in a group or one-on-one with the facilitator. Sessions typically last two hours.

The first 30 minutes are dedicated to welcoming participants, setting up the space, and an introduction by the facilitator, who explains the process and answers questions.

Each participant lies down on a yoga mat. Once the session begins, you're invited to close your eyes and relax.

For about an hour, a specific playlist designed to support expanded consciousness and activation is played. The facilitator works with the group and each individual.

During my sessions, I move around the space, working with each participant using Sanskrit mantras, chanting, light language, instruments, and touch on different parts of the body corresponding to energy points.

After the music ends, the last half hour is for integration: the facilitator shares aftercare recommendations and invites participants to share their experiences and ask questions, if they wish.

Online session
Online sessions follow the same structure as in-person ones and are held via Zoom. The beginning, middle, and end are the same. Each participant lies on their yoga mat at home, with their camera on so the facilitator can see their full body. Wireless headphones or speakers are recommended for the best sound experience.

The benefits of online sessions are the same as in-person ones, with the only difference being the absence of physical touch—the activation still occurs in the same way.

How Kundalini Activation Works

Yatra Kundalini Activation is a process of surrender, unlike Kundalini Yoga, and cannot be forced or self-generated. No prior experience is required. It is accessible to everyone except pregnant women, individuals with psychotic disorders, cardiovascular issues, glaucoma, or other medical contraindications.

This is a moment of surrender, trust, vulnerability, and heart-opening. All you have to do is close your eyes and stay tuned into your physical, emotional, and energetic sensations.

The activation that occurs during a session results from the unblocking of energetic pathways in the brain and body. Depression, illness, and a wide range of mental, physical, and emotional issues often arise when these internal connections are impaired by limiting thought patterns, behaviors, and unexpressed emotions.

This process helps people deprogram conditioning and break free from these old patterns, allowing new neural pathways to emerge.

Experiences During a Y.K.A. Session

Motoric Experiences
You may experience involuntary body movements such as spasms, tremors, mudras, yoga poses, hand movements, or pelvic motion.

These spontaneous movements, known as kriyas, often occur during the practice. They result from increased electrical flow along motor nerves and muscle fibers, leading to spontaneous contractions, vibrations, and bodily movements.

Kriyas help release stagnant or blocked energy and emotions, creating a feeling of release and lightness. These are temporary experiences that occur as the neural networks, endocrine system, and energetic pathways adapt to amplified signals from awakened life force energy and increased frontal lobe activity.

Allow your body to guide you without overthinking or analyzing the symbolism. Let your system recycle itself and activate its natural healing process.

Energetic Experiences
You may also remain still during the session but feel the energy moving within.

This may manifest as warm or cold currents moving through your body, vibrations, pressure in certain areas, electricity flowing, or sensations of heaviness—all signs of deep inner work.

Visual & Intuitive Experiences
It's common to experience visions and cosmic journeys, inner guidance, and subtle messages during a session. These arise from third-eye and crown chakra activations.

You may see lights, colors, abstract images, past memories, past lives, or other dimensions. You might receive guidance from spirit guides or your subconscious about what to integrate into your life for more harmony. These insights often bring great clarity aligned with your life path and unique needs.

Emotional Experiences
Yatra Kundalini Activation may trigger deep, intense emotional releases. You may feel anger, sadness, or fear—even if that’s not your current emotional state. It’s important to let these emotions surface and be fully felt so they can be released.

You may also feel bliss, gratitude, laughter, or deep joy. Some people even report experiencing energetic orgasms. These sensations are just as healing as the more difficult ones. Let your cells be filled with love and transform you from within.

Non-Duality
Non-dual states are profound subjective experiences where the perceived separation between self and the outside world dissolves. It’s a state of awareness where distinctions between subject and object, self and others, good and bad fade away.

It’s an experience of unity, of being fully immersed in the present moment without judgment or separation. It often brings deep peace, expanded consciousness, and a sense of wholeness.

This kind of experience often goes beyond words and is typically linked to advanced meditation, altered states of consciousness, or deep spiritual contemplation.

Important Notes

Each session is unique. The process of Kundalini Activation can be likened to peeling away the layers of an onion—getting closer and closer to your core and true self.

Everyone is receptive in their own way. The more sessions you attend, the deeper and more transformative the experiences can become.

Each person has their own rhythm. Avoid comparing your journey with others. The energy activates exactly as you are ready to receive it, which is why this practice is entirely safe.

Healing

Healing of specific ailments is not guaranteed following KA sessions, but you may be surprised to find that some of your symptoms disappear as you heal internally.

Enhanced psychic abilities and opening of the third eye

Kundalini Activation sessions allow you to become more sensitive to all your different bodies. It is common to experience heightened intuition and expanded extrasensory abilities following sessions. It is common to experience an opening in the third eye, and therefore to be more receptive to subtle information, through visions, sounds, and clairsentience.

Kundalini Activation can help revive and balance the libido, promoting greater sexual vitality and a better connection with one's body, pleasure, and sensuality through the awakening of sexual energy.

After a KA session, you may gradually feel more detached from everyday dramas, your attachments, expectations, and clinging to people (progressive liberation from emotional dependence), thought patterns, or anxieties, the stories you tell yourself. This detachment brings about a great liberation and a feeling of calm. You will no longer want to waste your time with futile headaches.
